We’re only four days into 2018 and fellow Grammy nominees Cardi B and Bruno Mars are ready to shake up the internet with a collaboration. Mars did a lot of winning last year with his third album 24K Magic and it looks like he wants to keep the streak going in the new year. “Finesse” is the latest single from the critically acclaimed album and the throwback vibe is gaining some Bronx attitude with Cardi featured on the remix.

“Drop top Porsche / Rollie on my wrist / Diamonds up and down my chain / Cardi B, straight stuntin’ / can’t tell me nothin’,” Bardi starts the song off letting her admirers and haters know how she’s shining these days while meshing well with the 90s feel of the track. The Bell, Biv, DeVo “Poison” sample adds the right amount of bounce as Bruno parties through the song with his soulful pipes. Plus Cardi’s adlibs throughout and her signature “ow!” seals the deal for me. If a solid remix wasn’t enough, Bruno Mars decided to treat us with the visual as well and it’s the perfect addition to the feel good bop.

Paying homage to the 90s classic In Living Color, Bruno and Cardi showcase their star power, dancing and looking like they had a lot of fun on set as they brought the iconic stage to life again. I’m here for this single and I think it’s safe to say this remix will be another smash for the record books for both of these successful artists. Keep the good vibes coming Bruno and Bardi!
