Tinashse Is Ready To Take Over 2017

STOP SLEEPING ON TINASHE
I’m sorry, usually I’m not that direct when I’m writing about an artist I love but when I see an artist that sings, writes, produces and most importantly PERFORMS consistently and they’re still being slept on I get in my feelings. 2016 was a great year for Tinashe. From multiple magazine covers, underrated singles (#SongOfTheSummerSuperlove), a duet (and amazing music video) with self proclaimed living legend Britney Spears and the release of her full length project Nightride, sweet-t’s were finally seeing some progress and hoping Joyride was finally going to reach its destination. I’m hoping 2017 is the year that RCA doesn’t let the hype die and sees Joyride’s potential because outside of the critical acclaim the “All Hands On Deck” superstar receives, she has a solid following willing to spend their coins to support their girl (I know I will 🙋🏾‍♂️).

But I’m not here to rant to you guys! This post is for spilling my feelings and excitement for Tinashe’s latest visual for her NSA anthem “Company” because Kachingwe didn’t come to play and I’m shook. Tinashe is known to bust out some impressive moves in a music video or live performance (Ex: “Superlove”, “All Hands On Deck”, “Player”, etc) but “Company” is dedicated to showcasing how serious Tee is about her choreography. With a couple dancers, flashing stage lights and some fog to give that concert effect, Tinashe executes every move like a pro and I honestly couldn’t take my eyes off of her throughout the four minutes and 28 seconds. I love when artists can dance and they choose to center music videos around their skills and “Company” is a prime example of how ready Tinashe is to elevate to the next level of her career. There are four mixtapes and two studio albums of proof that the 23 year old has been grinding to get to this point and I can’t wait for her to reach the level of success that is equivalent to the talent that she continues to utilize.
2016 was a big year for music but I think 2017 is going to up the ante and Tinashe isn’t playing games right now. If you haven’t given her latest release Nightride a spin, I’d highly recommend but if my glowing approval isn’t enough, watch this visual and let the “Slumber Party” attendee make you a believer.
