Alessia Cara Reawakens My Love For Frank Ocean’s ‘Super Rich Kids’

Last week Alessia Cara decided to cover Frank Ocean’s “Super Rich Kids” from his classic album Channel Orange on BBC Radio 1 and she definitely did it justice. The ode to the wealthy youth with problems as seemingly big as their bank accounts sounds glorious with Cara’s soulful vocals. I never get tired of the polished feel of Ocean’s lyrics, I can picture tears being wiped with hundred dollar bills and copious empty liquor bottles littering a huge bedroom floor while “Super Rich Kids” plays in the background. Oh to be young and financially stable…
