Yesterday (June 23) Troye Sivan and Alessia Cara dropped the collaboration I never knew I wanted with a remix to “WILD” from Sivan’s debut album Blue Neighbourhood. If the impressive pop record has been off your radar, no worries because all sins can be forgiven and you can still listen to brilliant tracks like “YOUTH”, “LOST BOY” and “for him.” with a click of a button! But onto the point of this post… “WILD” was the first single to be released from Blue Neighbourhood and it continues to capture the essence of falling for someone that is forbidden. Alessia Cara adds her stirring vocals to the dreamy pop single and adds a layer of replay-ability and emotion to the already solid song. Sivan and Cara aren’t new to each other, with covers and admiration from both artists. I would love to hear more collaborations from two of the most exciting voices in pop music. Get lost with this record for a lil bit.
