Kanye West became my favorite rapper back in 2004 when he dropped his debut album The College Dropout and with each crazy, artistic driven antic I’ve become more fascinated with the evolution of the Chicago native. It’s sad to think that Ye is on his eighth album and I still haven’t been blessed by attending a Yeezy concert but I’m thinking this year I’m going to need to make this goal happen. Kanye took to twitter a couple hours ago to announce the Saint Pablo Tour with a brief “TOUR” tweet alongside a link to his website. If you’re one of the few that have missed out on seeing West’s musical genius come to live on stage, the ultralight beam is currently glowing and the time is now. Tickets go on sale June 18  (June 14-17 for American Express Card members and June 17 for Tidal holders at livenation.com) so there isn’t much time to beg, borrow and steal to receive a ticket for what’s destined to be a monumental event (Remember the Yeezy fashion show??). But until I get my ticket I’ll just imagine how insane seeing “Waves”, “Real Friends” and of course “Ultralight Beams” unfold…
