Fifth Harmony Toast To The Good Life In New Single

Give it up for the kids! Or the talented ladies better known as Fifth Harmony that continue to impress and prove that they are not playing around with the platform they have right now. With their second album 7/27 dropping in two months, the five performers are taking every chance to show the world their growth since their debut album Reflection and I’m definitely paying attention. “The Life” is the latest single to drop as a instant gratification when you pre-order 7/27 on iTunes and it’s a vibrant anthem to the good life highlighting Mai Tais (Legally?) by the pool, eating good and chilling on a beach in Dubai.

Produced by Lukas Hilbert (Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Didn’t Just Come Here To Dance” & Tori Kelly’s “Expensive”) with additional co-writer credits from Tinashe (“2 On” & “All Hands On Deck”), and Alexander Kronlund (Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend” & Britney Spear’s “If U Seek Amy”) “The Life” has Fifth Harmony basking in their hardwork and letting everyone know that they’re claiming their spot on the top, “Ever since I was young I’m tryna get it right / Every year I’m working towards the goal / Don’t sleep ’til we see the daylight / Living big going up on the rope.” I love the pulsating beat alongside the synth in “The Life’s” production as each girl has a chance to shine whether it be Lauren starting the track with cool swagger or Camila’s addictive yet repetitive chorus. The lit anthem is giving everyone serious summer vibes and I can’t wait to see what Fifth Harmony’s second album does on the charts.

“Work From Home” is still killing it on the charts with 88,000 downloads and 10 million U.S. streams in the first week alone. Plus the construction worker themed video that has a staggering 83 million views in a month doesn’t hurt the destined success of 5/27. It’s always great to see artists you’re a fan of get some mainstream love, and I’ll definitely be keeping you guys updated with where success takes the girls of 5H next!
