B.L.O.W. – Tory Lanez
Tory Lanez made waves with his single “Say It” earlier this year, when he let his lady know that she needs to let her feelings be known. The catchy Brownstone sampled R&B banger was a nice introduction to Tory Lanez the singer but the Canadian crooner can unleash some bars when necessary. “B.L.O.W.” is Lanez latest single and has him showcasing his rap skills preparing fans for his upcoming takeover. With two new mixtapes released over Christmas (New Toronto, Chixtape 3), I can’t wait to see what Tory Lanez does in 2016.
Never – Tamar Braxton

Do you know those artists that have effortlessly flawless voices, commanding stage presence but don’t seem to get the mainstream recognition they deserve? Tamar Braxton is one of those artists to my ears. With one of the most solid and soulful releases this year (Calling All Lovers) if you haven’t given Tamar a play yet, I highly recommend it. “Never” is one of my favorite tracks on the album as the booked musician gives a beautiful kiss off to a guy that isn’t treating her right. The way Tamar attacks the verses and perfect chorus has me hooked.
Cool – Troye Sivan
Troye Sivan dropped one of the best debuts this year and I already wrote too much about how great it is on here. So I’ll just say “Cool” fits the title as Troye tries to impress the guy that seems to cool for him. I love the details Sivan adds to his lyrics to paint the perfect Urban Outfitters filled aesthetic.
When I’ve got that cigarette smoke And Saint Laurent coat, but nothing is feeling right…
Hello – Erykah Badu
“Hello Hello / Hey / Hello Hello, ” Never escapes my brain when I listen to this mellow track. I mean Erykah Badu and Andre 3000 are on it, so how can you go wrong?
