Miley Cyrus can’t handle the fucking goo. Her words not mine off of “BB Talk” her latest single from her free experimental album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. Produced by Oren Yoel (Asher Roth’s “Lark On My Go Kart” & Miley Cyrus’s “Adore You”) “BB Talk” was the song that made me want to hear the full album. Cyrus sounds like she confessing her stoned feelings to a friend as she starts the song talking about the awkward situation she has with her guy.

If “And you know / they say that you gotta think what you want into existence / but you know what /
Haven’t been too good at making decisions so / I have no idea what the fuck I want / I guess,” doesn’t remind you of a conversation you slurred through after too many shots of vodka then you’re probably underage and shouldn’t be listening to the Bangerz popstar but I get it she’s marketed to the youth, I digress…

The music video plays off the “BB Talk” title and has Cyrus dressed up like a big emotional baby complete with a diaper, huge bottle and pink bonnet. Out of everything I’ve seen MC do in the past this concept is almost tame but it’s still a little strange so it’s right on brand for Miley. Overall the Diamond Martel directed visual is simple and doesn’t add or take away from the replay value of the song. It definitely gave Cyrus some press as people sighed and rolled their eyes at her latest antic but you’re doing what she wants you to do, talk and share her video! Being an anti-sappy human being most of the time I also hate the goo but I’m really feeling this BB Talk. Keep the feel-worthy songs coming MC!
