Rita Ora Wants To Remake Your Favorite Sexually Suggestive Hit

Sometimes moments like a popular sexually liberating anthem from the early 2000s trends on Twitter and I remember why I’m always refreshing my timeline hoping for a couple entertaining tweets. In a article with The Sun current X-Factor host and entertainer Rita Ora announced her goal to re-make the infamous “Lady Marmalade’, made famous by Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lil Kim, Mya and Missy Elliott for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack (After being made famous by Labelle in the 70s…but who doesn’t love a remake?)

As you can guess, people on twitter went nuts…

Some people seemed to be on board with a 2015 reboot but they weren’t down with the three girls Ora has in mind. if “Lady Marmalade (2015 Remix)” was going down with Ora in charge she wants Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX to fill in the roles of the previous divas and craft a hit (most likely produced by Max Martin or DJ Mustard if they’re looking to bring production to 2015 standards as well). Australian rapper and occasional tweeter Iggy Azalea has already abandoned ship on this plan:

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsI would have to agree with Azalea. Not every song, tv show, and movie needs a sequel or remake. Some things should remain as relics of the past that we go back to from time to time when we want to remember the great parts of past years (or when we need to fill in a spot for some random music award show). I’m a big fan of Rita Ora and I hate to see everyone burn her at the stake for a suggestion, but hey that’s the internet in 2015 right? Besides wasn’t “Bang Bang” the “Lady Marmalade” for a new generation?   http://33.media.tumblr.com/eafb3a67eb6a8a196757f1f21bb7539e/tumblr_inline_nbk4skeTGw1ripgeb.gif

Do you think “Lady Marmalade” deserves a remake and if so who are the four singers that need to hop on the song?

If you have no idea what any of this means I present to you Lady Marmalade:
