Songs That Should Be On Your Playlist – April 17th 2015!

I’m very excited for this playlist and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the stream of new Yeezy music that’s been coming out or that a majority of these songs are making me want to let loose at my nearest dance floor but I think you guys will enjoy the tracks on this “It’s A Playlist” playlist. As always, I’ll highlight a couple and link the rest on the bottom.

P.S. I’ve been trying out Tidal so I decided to make the playlist on there but if you haven’t joined that wave yet, no worries! I also included a spotify link! Enjoy.

Where Are You Now (Featuring Justin Bieber) – Skrillex & Diplo

“Where Are Ü Now” was the first song I heard off of Skrillex & Diplo’s collaborative album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü and it’s definitely one of the highlights of the release. The laid-back potential summer jam has Bieber pining over a lost love and the song is addictive.

Preach (Featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR) – Drake

“Preach” was one of the first songs I played on a loop after a few spins of Drake’s latest album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. From PARTYNEXTDOOR’s hazy vocals to Drake’s signature flow and sound, “Preach” is an easy favorite that is even getting love from stars like Selena Gomez.

See You Again (Featuring Charlie Puth) – Wiz Khalifa

Now “See You Again” is an emotional song on it’s own, mostly due to Charlie Puth’s contribution to the chorus but there is an added wave of emotion when it’s the background music to the end of blockbuster Furious 7. I love the movie, the soundtrack is dope, and these two did a great job on “See You Again”. I don’t know even wanna think about how sad but touching the ending of Furious 7 was.

Trap Queen – Fetty Wap

Catchy song. Unavoidable chorus. It’s taking over, be prepared to hear it everywhere this summer…
