I praised Janelle Monae’s latest release with Wondaland labelmate Jidenna in a review on FDRMX. The anthem for all the yoga freaks out there is Monae’s most radio friendly single to date and the bouncy cut goes completely off with Monae getting a little more playful and Jidenna bringing the heat towards the end. I liked the song as soon as I heard it but the music video has me enjoying “Yoga” even more than I thought was possible (Still need to work on my technique).

Featuring actress Tessa Thompson and a group of sexy dancers, Janelle Monae turns up throughout the video showing off her moves in a yoga studio and later taking over a diner. I’m excited to hear more off the Wondaland collaborative EP Eephus and I hope “Yoga” continues to get some well deserved love.
