The current Queen of rap Nicki Minaj hasn’t released a full length album since 2012 so it seems like a new record is well overdue…but no worries barbz! Minaj is ready to unleash her third album “The Pinkprint”. Due December 15th, this album has been highly anticipated for awhile and with Minaj claiming this album will be the “Blueprint” for female rappers, there’s definitely some pressure for the success and quality of this album. With a slew of singles out ranging from slow-paced, melodic “Pills N Potion” to the face down, ass up, Sir-Mix-A-Lot sampled banger “Anaconda“, variety seems to be key this era and I’m excited to hear this album.
Minaj released the tracklisting for “The Pinkprint” through Instagram today and it looks CRAZY. There are very few artists that can say they collaborated with Beyonce, so I’m expecting greatness for round two from the two artists. Ariana Grande is featured on a track called “Get On Your Knees” and I have a feeling that Grande will be stripping away the last piece of her Nickelodeon image with the help of this track. Recent singles “Only (Featuring Drake, Lil Wayne & Chris Brown)” and “Bed of Lies (Featuring Skylar Grey)” can also be found the tracklisting. Let’s hope these two weeks go by fast guys I’m ready to hear what Minaj has to offer.

[…] I mentioned Ariana Grande being featured on “The PinkPrint” as another step away from the Nickleodeon image I was half right. While her presence on “Get on Your Knees” isn’t as sexual as I expected, […]
