Why ya gotta be so rude? Don’t you know I’m human too?

I don’t think I need to tell you what song these lyrics are from because if you’ve been by a radio or watched any music channel than you probably heard MAGIC!’s smash hit “Rude” that doesn’t seem to be leaving the charts anytime soon. When I first heard the track  I loved everything about it from the reggae undertone to the insanely catchy lyrics that beg to be sung at the top of your lungs whenever it comes on.

Even though I’m a fan of the single, I didn’t have any expectations on the album since I usually don’t listen to too much reggae infused music (unless I’m in the car late at night and a DJ has it on their party playlist). After listening to the album MAGIC! has definitely gained a new fan and proved to me that their more than one great single. “Don’t Kill The MAGIC!” shows Magic!’s ability to be versatile whether their singing out some somber ballad (“One Woman, One Man”) or giving you a mixture of genres to create a song like (“Paradise”).

Magic!’s sound is so refreshing and makes me want to get into the reggae genre more. Don’t Kill The Magic! is a solid debut album and I’m excited to hear what Magic! cooks up next!
